RCMP No Longer Accepts Ink Prints

As of July 1st, 2014 the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s (RCMP) Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services (CCRTIS) will no longer be taking Ink prints to do Criminal Record Checks. This means that all fingerprints done for the purpose of conducting a Criminal Record Check must be done electronically.

Need Fingerprints?  Commissionaires Great Lakes can help.
Commissionaires Great Lakes Identification Services provides electronic fingerprint service using the latest Bio-Scan equipment and software.  As you know technology is only as good as the people behind it.  That’s why our services are provided by highly trained and experienced RCMP certified Technicians. You can trust that your prints will be secure and done right the first time.

How does it work?
Your fingerprints are scanned electronically, encrypted and sent electronically to the RCMP’s CCRTIS for processing.  The advantage of this system is that it greatly reduces the processing time needed to get the results back.

Is this the end of Ink fingerprints?
Not necessarily.  Not every organization requires digital fingerprints.  Some organizations have regulators outside of Canada that can only process Ink and Roll prints and, therefore, we will continue to provide that service to those clients who still require Ink prints.

Ink to Digital Technology
We have it! Commissionaires Great Lakes has Ink to Digital Scan Technology for those people who are outside of Canada where there isn’t any digital fingerprint scanning technology available or who live in a rural area and still require a criminal record check. We’ll take your ink fingerprints, scan andconvert them over to the digital format required by the RCMP.

Whatever your needs are for Criminal Record Checks and fingerprinting, Commissionaires Great lakes Identifications Services is your most trusted source.
